The Franklin Cup 2011 Event Report
Deep below, in the catacombs of the Franklin Institute, two mutated maniacal mechanisms enter the areana...only one will be crowned champion. The Franklin Institute and PACTS were once again gracious enough to host The Franklin Cup. Once again, there was a strong turnout and matches were fierce. To truly make it to the end in one piece was an achievement alone.

They came from all across the continent. They beat each other to bits. But only one leaves with the trophy. Motorama continues to be the best east coast bot event. Thanks to everyone involved for another great Motorama!.

Thanks to Brad and Motorama for having us back and their continued support to put on a great event!
Brian and family - Arena delivery - it's a long haul from MA every year. Additional thanks to Brian for working with sponosrs to get some great prizes this year.
Ed, Beth, and Gina - Brackets and making sure the event goes smoothly..
Jim Iocca- Registration coordinator.
John "Anarchy Dude" Durand - announcing and mxing music throughout the event.
Al Kindle - Trophies and helping prep the arena.
John Wolan - Videographer and floor painting

All the judges who I'm sure were faced with many tough decisions; Joe, Bryan, Dan, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few.
Arena setup and teardown: Every year it seems to go more smoothly and thats largely in part to all the assistance by the volunteers. It feels like every year we have more people helping with the arena which is really great to see. It certainly makes it easier and even possible for those of us responsible for getting it up.

All The Competitors - Thanks to everyone that comes out and supports this event. A lot of work goes on before, during and after the arena is packed up until next time. And it couldn't be done without a such a committed group of builders. Thanks.

Big thanks to our VERY generous sponsors.
Please take the time to reach out to them and thank them for their very generous donations this year:
